Solve technical challenges, help customers move forward and grow within an innovative SaaS company. The perfect start to an IT career for ambitious graduates.
Job description
Are you a service-minded IT talent who gets energy from solving problems and truly helping customers move forward? Are you an ambitious young professional, or do you have a few more years of experience and still want to learn and grow within an innovative SaaS company? Then we’d love to get to know you!
Your role
As a Service Engineer, you’ll start with a thorough internal training programme. After that, you’ll be the link between our customers and our technology. You make sure functional and technical issues are solved quickly and effectively, and you proactively suggest improvements. You’ll work with our low-code solutions, document recognition, self-billing and integrations with financial software. Before long, you’ll know our customers and products inside out.
About Whitevision
Whitevision is a leading SaaS player in Intelligent Document Processing & Management. We build smart, scalable and reliable tools for invoice processing, procurement, spend and document management. They integrate seamlessly with a wide range of ERP systems. Today, more than 2,300 organisations rely on our solutions.
Over 140 colleagues keep developing and implementing them from our offices in Breda, Rotterdam, Zoetermeer, De Goorn, Milton Keynes and Southampton. Our culture is built on four core values: committed, ambitious, respectful and decisive.
So where will you land? You’ll join a close-knit, informal team of support consultants, consultants and developers. We’re curious, solution-focused and we like a good laugh. Together, we make sure our customers get the most out of our software, and we celebrate our wins along the way.
We’re always developing, so there’s plenty of room for your own ideas and growth. Got a good idea? Great, we’d love to hear it!
What you’ll do
+ Solve functional and technical customer questions about our software.
+ Analyse complex issues and turn them into practical solutions.
+ Investigate problems in the integrations between our software and back-office systems such as AFAS and Exact.
+ Test and document solutions and improvements.
+ Work with Development and Consultancy to solve customer issues for good.
+ Use your knowledge of IT and AI to make our team’s internal processes smarter.
+ Work from our great office in Zoetermeer (in the Innovation Factory!) and partly from home.
Job requirements

What you bring
+ A bachelor’s degree (HBO level) in IT or a related field, and/or a proven interest in technology.
+ Strong analytical skills: you quickly get to the root of a problem and switch easily between the technical side and what the customer needs.
+ A passion for IT and AI, and the drive to use that knowledge to make things better.
+ A team player mindset: you actively connect with colleagues and customers.
+ The ability to stay calm under pressure, a healthy dose of humour and a sense of perspective.
+ Enthusiasm and the will to keep learning and growing.

Helping customers, getting to grips with technology and developing yourself: this is where it all comes together.
You start as a Service Engineer and build your future. We build Whitevision across Europe. Together, we maken organisations smarter.

What we offer
Next to working in a friendly, motivated team, we offer you:
+ A salary between €2,800 and €4,250 gross per month (based on 40 hours), an 8% holiday allowance and 25 holiday days, with the option to buy 5 extra days (based on 40 hours).
+ Good secondary benefits, such as a laptop and a strong pension plan, plus flexible working hours and the option to work from home.
+ An inspiring work environment with flexibility in where you work (hybrid) and when you work.
+ Training and courses, and plenty of room for your own ideas, so you can keep developing and growing.
+ A team where we work hard, but always make time for fun, including drinks and events that people talk about for ages!
